There are over 6000 filters available for Filter Forge. There are 4 different editions (starters with limited filters and then basic, standard and professional editions with unlimited filters). I have used Genuine Fractals since it was released by LizardTech. But, when On One Software purchased it, they continued to refine it. On One just released version 6 and the results are impressive. To test this new version, I resized the above image (shown in the Genuine Fractal 6 interface). The original image was 3888×2593 [...] By moving the plugins to the proper folder and deleting the sub-folder, the Curse of the Blinking Cursor was solved! If you want to add a dreamy, ethereal effect, Fractalius adds a very unique look that is very hard to create without it. Why create such a source image when you could create the effect in Photoshop? If you later need a full focus image, there’s no way to “undo” a Lensbaby photo. At least in Photoshop, you have complete control over the effect AND have a clean original … just in case. |
